Create Your First Animation
Section titled “Create Your First Animation”Learn how to create an engaging animated video from scratch with Glintia. This tutorial covers the complete workflow from idea to finished video.
What You’ll Create
Section titled “What You’ll Create”By the end of this tutorial, you’ll have created a short animated explainer video featuring:
- Custom characters
- Animated text and graphics
- Professional voiceover
- Background music
Step 1: Plan Your Video
Section titled “Step 1: Plan Your Video”Before diving into the editor, take a moment to plan:
- Purpose: What message do you want to convey?
- Audience: Who will watch this video?
- Length: Aim for 60-90 seconds for maximum engagement
Step 2: Set Up Your Project
Section titled “Step 2: Set Up Your Project”- Click “Create New Project” from your dashboard
- Name your project (e.g., “My First Animation”)
- Select “Blank Canvas” for this tutorial
- Choose your aspect ratio (16:9 recommended for most uses)
Step 3: Add Characters
Section titled “Step 3: Add Characters”- Click the “Characters” tab in the left panel
- Browse the character library or search for a specific style
- Click a character to add it to your scene
- Use the handles to resize and position your character

Step 4: Add Animations
Section titled “Step 4: Add Animations”- Select your character on the canvas
- Click “Animate” in the properties panel
- Choose an entrance animation (e.g., “Fade In”, “Slide In”)
- Set the timing for when the animation should start
- Preview by pressing the Play button
Step 5: Add Text and Graphics
Section titled “Step 5: Add Text and Graphics”- Click the “Text” tab to add titles or captions
- Type your message and style the text
- Add animations to your text elements
- Use the “Graphics” tab for icons and shapes
Step 6: Add Voiceover
Section titled “Step 6: Add Voiceover”- Click the “Audio” tab
- Select “Text-to-Speech”
- Paste your script into the text box
- Choose a voice from the available options
- Click “Generate” to create the voiceover
- Adjust timing to sync with your visuals
Step 7: Export Your Video
Section titled “Step 7: Export Your Video”- Click the “Export” button in the top right
- Choose your export settings:
- Format: MP4 (recommended)
- Quality: 1080p for most uses
- Click “Export” and wait for processing
- Download your finished video
