Create Your Account and Start Your Trial

This article takes you from no account to an active 7-day trial. It also covers what the trial includes, how to end it early with Start my plan now, and the everyday account tasks: signing in and out, resetting your password, editing your profile and changing the app’s language.

Before you start

Use an up-to-date desktop browser such as Chrome, Edge or Firefox. A laptop or desktop is recommended for editing
Have a payment card ready. Every trial needs a card, and you aren’t charged if you cancel before the trial ends
Glintia has no free tier. You need a trial or a paid plan to create designs

Create your account

On glintia.com, click Start free trial. The sign-up form opens on the Create Account tab, headed “Create your account”.

Email and password
Google

Enter your Email, a Password and the same password again in Confirm Password. Use at least 8 characters
Click Create Account. A quick automatic security check runs in the background, so there’s usually nothing extra to click
On the “Check your inbox” screen, enter the confirmation code we emailed you and click Confirm. It can take a minute to arrive. If it doesn’t, check your spam folder or click Resend Code

Answer the onboarding questions

New accounts see a short three-step setup before the dashboard.

“What do you want to create?” Pick Animated videos, Whiteboard explainers, Video editing, AI-powered videos, or A bit of everything
“What describes you best?” Pick Content creator, Marketing & business, Teaching & education, Agency / freelance, Personal projects or Something else. Click Back to change your first answer
Glintia shows “Building your workspace…” for a few seconds, then the plan screen

Your answers decide which plan is marked Recommended for you: Advance if you picked Marketing & business or Agency / freelance, and Pro otherwise. You can choose any plan. These answers don’t lock you into anything. You choose an editor mode separately each time you create a design (see Choosing an Editor Mode).

Choose a plan and start your trial

The plan screen shows the recommended plan with its price, a Monthly / Yearly switch (Yearly is selected at first), and a timeline of the trial.

Choose Monthly or Yearly billing. Yearly shows the equivalent monthly price and the amount billed each year
Click Start my 7-day free trial to take the recommended plan, or click Compare all plans and click Start 7-day free trial on the plan you want
On Stripe’s secure checkout page, enter your card details. The page also accepts a promotion code if you have one
When checkout finishes you see “Payment Successful!”. Click Back to Home to open your dashboard

Enterprise: clicking Contact Sales takes you to the Glintia contact page instead of checkout
Not ready yet? Click Skip my free trial for now. You reach the dashboard without a plan. To start your trial later, click the credits pill at the top right and choose Choose a plan. On the plans page, pick Monthly or Yearly, keep Enable free trial ticked and click Start 7-Day Free Trial on the plan you want
Left checkout early? You see “Payment Cancelled”. Click Try Again to pick a plan again, or Back to Home

What the trial includes

The trial gives you the plan you picked for 7 days, with two differences from a paid plan:

A starter allowance. You get a small allowance of exports and AI credits, and lower caps on things like video length, stock downloads and uploads. Your plan’s full monthly allowance starts with your first payment
A watermark. During the trial, a watermark (a repeating “Glintia FREE TRIAL” pattern and a “Made with Glintia · Free trial” badge in the corner) shows on the canvas and is burned into every export. Paid plans export without a watermark

To see your trial allowance, open Billing in the left sidebar, or click the credits pill at the top right to see your AI credits.

When the trial ends

If you don’t cancel, your plan starts automatically when the 7 days are up and your card is charged for the monthly or yearly plan you chose. To check the date, click the credits pill at the top right (“N days left in your free trial”) or open Billing, which shows “Free Trial Active” with the days remaining and the end date.

To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends. Cancelling a trial ends it straight away, and you lose access to the editor, exports and AI tools. See Billing, Trial and Cancelling.

Start your plan early with Start my plan now

If you’re ready to pay before the 7 days are up, you can end the trial early. The watermark comes off and your full allowance starts right away.

Open the confirmation in any of these places:
- Click the credits pill at the top right of the dashboard or editor (it shows a Trial badge), then click Start plan now
- Open Billing and click Start my plan now
- In the editor’s export panel, click Remove it next to “Trial exports include a Glintia watermark.”
Check the summary: what you’re charged today, the card that will be used, and when the plan renews
Click Pay [amount] and start now, or Keep my trial to change your mind
If your bank needs extra confirmation, you see “Finish your payment”. Click Complete payment, confirm it on Stripe’s page, then click I’ve paid, check again
When you see “Your [plan] plan is active”, click Done

What changes:

Your plan’s full monthly exports and AI credits start that day, with a fresh month
The watermark comes off the editor and every new export
Billing starts that day instead of when the trial would have ended

Sign in: go to app.glintia.com. On the Sign In tab, enter your Email and Password and click Sign in, or click Sign In with Google. If you’ve turned on two-factor authentication, enter the code from your authenticator app when asked.

Sign out: click Logout at the bottom of the left sidebar on the dashboard, or click your initial at the top right and choose Logout. If you’re in the editor, click the Home button first. The editor saves your design before taking you back to the dashboard.

Reset a forgotten password

On the sign-in page, click Forgot your password?
Enter your email address and click Send code
On the “Choose a new password” screen, enter the code from the email, then your new password twice
Click Submit. Click Resend Code if the email doesn’t arrive

If you sign in with Google, your password belongs to your Google account, so reset it with Google.

Profile and account settings

Click Settings in the left sidebar, the gear icon at the top right, or your initial and then Settings. The page has two tabs.

Email: shown for reference. It can’t be changed here
Name (required), Company Name and Address
Click Save Changes to save

Change the app’s language and theme

Language: on the dashboard, click the globe icon at the top right (“Select Language”). In the editor, click the More button (three dots) at the top left and pick from the language list. The app is available in English, Français, Español, Deutsch, العربية (Arabic) and 日本語 (Japanese). Arabic switches the layout to right to left
Light or dark theme: click the sun or moon icon in the dashboard header or the editor header

Troubleshooting

No confirmation or reset code: wait a minute, check spam and promotions folders, then click Resend Code
“Subscription Required” when you click New Design: you don’t have an active trial or plan yet. The dialog offers a trial of the Basic plan billed yearly. To pick a different plan or monthly billing, close it, click the credits pill at the top right and choose Choose a plan
Sign-up refused with a message to try again later: wait a while and try again. If it keeps happening, contact Glintia support
